Micro Communities 

ANOTHEN Community Care is based on creating micro communities to create pathways for individuals to feel connected and have opportunities to develop healthy relationships. Our micro communities are designed to be incisive and consider the interests of our clients.

 

Your team leader will work closely with you to plan for activities which meets your needs and interests

Type of activities include: 

• Social events 

• Interest groups 

• Skill building events

• Special events 

 

You will be supported by our social participation mentors; each individual social participation support plan is developed to assist you in meeting your NDIS goals while having fun, developing new skills and meeting new people. We give you the flexibility to attend regular events or to choose ad hoc events which meets your needs. It is important to understand that some events have resource fees and entry fees which need to be paid separately which your NDIS funding may not cover. ​
