About our supported accommodation options

Our Accommodation Model
ANOTHEN Community Care is a growing registered NDIS provider, who puts our clients in the driving seat. In an environment where housing is hard and there is a real fear of homelessness, ANOTHEN Community Care is working together in a collaborative approach with other housing providers to provide customised supports for individuals who need NDIS supports in their homes and out in the community or workplace.

We have access to a growing number of homes across various locations, to provide long term housing solutions, while providing safe and private spaces to call home, feel connected and receive supports which meet individual needs. Our supported living accommodation is built on a co-living model which is a modern form of sharing a house where individuals rent a private room with their own ensuite.
Accommodation & Drop In Supports
ANOTHEN Community Care offer drop in supports, which are designed to support individuals who do not require full-time supports but needs supports with various daily living activities or social participation.

We will work with individuals and their support network to develop a plan that works best, there is a minimum of 4 hours a day of drop in support combination either in the house or in the community.

Individuals do not usually have NDIS funding for housing when they have drop-in supports. The accommodation is paid by the individual on a fortnightly arrangement and comes out of the individuals Centrelink payments or wages depending on the situation.

More about board and lodging can be found in the information pack.
