Supported Accommodation

Supported accommodation is where an individual requires both accommodation & supports.

Accommodation is provided via a board and lodging agreement, and the individual is required to pay an agreed fee which is usually paid form their Centrelink payment or some other income separate from their NDIS funding. â€‹â€‹

The SIL supports are funded via an individual NDIS plan and is meant to be utilised to provide assistance with, or supervision of, tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, with a focus on developing the skills of each individual to live as autonomously as possible.
