Supported Accommodation & Drop In Supports
Drop-in supports are designed for individuals who live in our supported accommodation but need flexible supports to meet their needs.
Drop-in supports are perfect for individuals who do not needs extensive supports on a day-to-day arrangement. We do require a minimum of 28 hours per week of 1:1 supports for clients in our supported accommodation who have drop-in supports.

These hours can be made up of any combination of supports as listed below.
Overview
Drop-in Supports
ANOTHEN Community Care provide flexible drop-in supports for those who reside in our supported living houses. There is a minimum of 28 hours per week of 1:1 supports are required for each individual. These may include a combination of any of the following support needs:

Assistance with daily life

Daily personal activities
-
Transport
-
Assistance with social, economic and community participation

Increases social & community participation

Finding and keeping a job

High intensity daily personal activities

Assistance with Travel/Transport Arrangements

Assistance with Daily Life Tasks in a Group or Shared Living Arrangement

ANOTHEN Community Care offers a highly qualified and experience team, were individual clients have the ability to have an input into their support worker preferences. Our supported housing model is designed for providing security and longer-term accommodation solutions to NDIS participants. ​
Lodging Agreement
Each resident is provided a lodging agreements under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Residents who stay in one of ANOTHEN CC supporting accommodation has the following rights under the ACL:

any meals or services you pay for must meet consumer guarantees, such as be provided with care and skill.

Landlords must give receipts for services costing over $75. You can also ask for a list of how charges are calculated within 30 days of getting the original receipt.

Any standard form contracts must not contain unfair contract terms.

Residents' responsibilities include the following:

keep your room clean and tidy
-
pay your lodging payment on time and in the agreed way eg. electronically or cash
-
follow the house rules
-
give proper notice if you plan to leave
-
use your room and shared areas only for legal purposes

no sub-letting your room

All of our residents in one of our supported living homes will receive a lodging agreement and a separate service agreement and schedule of support for all NDIS funded supports to be provided.

Lodging Fees & Inclusions
ANOTHEN Community Care acknowledges that the rental market is high and out of reach for most individuals who receive Centrelink as their only form of income. Our lodging is $230.00 per week plus your rental rebate.
Your lodging fee includes the following items:

Your fully furnished room - keypad on the door, queen/double size bed, ensuite, small desk and chair, build in wardrobe, refrigerator/bar fridge, individual air-conditioned, all utilities, high speed internet, Cleaning solutions and equipment.

High Speed internet
Your lodging does not include:

Your food and beverages
-
Your clothing and shoes
-
Any personal products - hair care, body care etc.

Please notes if there is excessive utility usage extra request for additional funds may be requested.

As a growing provider in the supported accomodation space, we continue to partner with invester to offer a range of accomodation solutions to those in needs of supported accomodation. With the rental market increasingly challanging to navigate it is our desire to network with support coordinators and NDIS particpants to provide quality accomodation solutions.

The house is positioned well for access to local shops and public transport.
The house is designed for individual privacy.
