Bush Walking Community

If you love bush walking than this is the community for you. We plan regular walks in local bush land; your support worker is there to assist you in having a relaxing and enjoyable walk.

Bush Walking Community

Micro communities make up the building blocks of our social participation activities. Our Bush walker's micro communities meet in various locations, we explore local bush land, have lunch together and meet new people.

When you join our bush walkers' micro community, we will invoice your NDIS plan as follows:
Core – Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities
OR
Capacity building – Increased social and community participation (hours will depend on the event, and your location)

To join our growing bush walker's community please reach out for upcoming dates, locations and events. You will need to book a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 6 hours of supports to participate in event.

When you join one of our Bush Walkers communities (depending on location) you will get to join in on one or more of the following activities:

  • Explore local bush land

  • Attend education sessions

  • Enjoy a picnic lunch - you bring your own lunch

  • Join in various activities on the walk

PLEASE NOTE: An individual risk assessment will need to be completed prior to you attending one of these events.
